Did you see this year's Oscars?? I certainly did, and whilst the awards themselves were very entertaining, the dazzling gowns donned by the stars made the show even more exciting.
Check out the forever glamorous Jane Fonda. Can you believe she is 75 years old?? 75 years old!! As soon as I saw her walk on the red carpet, oh, she took my breath away. You do not see many canary yellow dresses on the red carpet, actually you hardly see any canary yellow dresses, and being the colour addict that I am this is quite disappointing for me. Jane Fonda was brave and admiringly confident in showing off that amazing body in this bright Versace number. Honestly, she outshone many of the younger celebrities. Go Jane Fonda!

One of my favourite actresses is the Welsh star, Catherine Zeta Jones. This woman is sooo beautiful, oh I love her! I remember watching The Mask of Zorro when I was a little girl and falling in love. Thanks to this film, I discovered the handsome Antonio Banderas and the sizzling Catherine. I was so happy to see her at this year's Oscars. I read that some considered this dress to be overly guilded, and too gold. Well, I loved it and I think she looked amazing. This Zuhair Murad dress was stunning on her.

Nicole Kidman. Statuesque. Sexy. Elegant. I loved this L'Wren Scott dress and I love Nicole and I cannot resist mermaid dresses! Can't wait to see her as Grace Kelly in her new film Grace of Monaco.1

Nicole Kidman and Naoimi Watts are said to be very good friends. Both opted for metallic, fitted dresses, flaunting their figures, Naoimi wearing this silver Armani Prive dress. Naoimi was nominated for an Academy Award for her impressive role in The Impossible, but it was Anne Hathaway who took away the little golden statue home.

Fellow Best Actress nominee Jessica Chastain was stunningly beautiful in another Armani Prive dress. She apparently stated that this dress is a very 'Happy Anniversary Mr.President' as it reminded her of Old Hollywood glamour. I totally agree. Her red hair and pale skin looked exquisite in this nude coloured gown and her red lips completed her glamorous overall look.

Whilst there were many other gorgeous dresses that I loved including Jennifer Lawrence's, Charlize Theron's, Kerry Washington's and Jennifer Hudson's these were my favourites!
Which is your favourite dress/look??

My favourite is Jane Fonda, without a doubt. What an inspiration! Let's see if all the younger actresses will live up to this ideal.
